Christopher Parr
Founder & CEO
Christopher is an industry leader with over 15 years of experience in digital marketing. He is an award-winning luxury marketing veteran, writer, a frequent speaker at luxury and interactive marketing conferences and a pioneer in web publishing. He launched Pursuitist as a curated list of the good things in life, with guest contributors from Forbes, Mashable, TechCrunch, Glamour, Saveur and more sharing their favorite luxuries. In 1996, Michael Wolff's NetGuide named Parr's inaugural online magazine as "The Best Site of the Year" at MacWorld. He holds a MFA from Brandeis and a BA from Viterbo.
Since 1995, he has developed online marketing strategies for many clients: including Rayovac, Insinkerator, BizFilings, John Deere, Musicnotes, Looksmart, Sub-Zero, Microsoft, Credit Union Executives and Epic Insurance. He was a VP, Marketing Director for an e-commerce company, working with Warner Bros. Pub. & AOL. Christopher also managed consumer marketing and media for Sub-Zero/Wolf. Heading up interactive, promotions, media, video, branding, e-newsletters, blogging & social media marketing. He developed digital campaigns with HGTV, NY Times, Oprah and Epicurious.
