From “the Vault” — here is what this Parr Interactive project for Rayovac looked like in 1997! Frames, Michael Jordan, and the Gobbler Rock Shockwave game (before it was called Flash)!

In 1997, Christopher Parr designed, developed and launched the very first website for Rayovac, the battery-maker from Madison, Wisconsin. Focused on great content from Michael Jordan, Babe Winkleman and Arnold Palmer, Christopher created a site for Rayovac that was informative and fun.

While this 1997 Rayovac site from “the Vault” obviously looks dated, it certainly is a great look back at Parr’s emphasis on content marketing and entertainment-focused digital destinations to engage customers.
